Subject: Backport request: JDK-8031376 to JDK 8
Hi all,
We are affected by the issue reported in JDK-8031376, the fix has gone in JDK 9 hotspot, could we ask for it to be backported into current the JDK 8 dev stream please? The fix is important because we cannot use -verbose:class without the JVM crashing.
This is the changeset:
http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk9/jdk9/hotspot/rev/715bc50198c1
We have verified that the fix does work in our scenario and hence can be applied cleanly into JDK 8.
Thank you.
Regards,
