[8u60] RFR(xs): 8076460: Zero fastdebug build does not compile

Hi,

Could somebody please review and sponsor this change?

It's a JDK 8u only issue. The Zero JVM variant fastdebug build does not
compile. Product and slowdebug builds compile fine. JDK-9 does not have
this issue and has received the same fixes, AFAIK.
