[8u60] Request for approval: backport of 8078482: ppc: pass thread to throw_AbstractMethodError

Hi,

I would like to backport "8078482: ppc: pass thread to throw_AbstractMethodError".
This fixes a fatal error in the ppc port.  It touches only ppc files.

The jdk9 change applies cleanly except for a whitespace diff:

I can push this myself, because it's ppc port only.  But where do I need to
push it to get it into 8u60?  jdk8u/hs-dev/hotspot?
