[8u60] Request for approval: 8069590: AIX port of "8050807: Better performing performance data handling"

Volker,

I don't see any issues with this being pushed to the jdk8u-dev team 
forest. Consider it approved for there. Before any push, let's first see 
if Alejandro is ok with that. He should be online in a few hours.

Once I see this in 8u60 team forest, I'll log a request to have this 
included in 8u40.
