RFR 8151939: VM_Version_init() print buffer is too small

Hi, Coleen,

In src/cpu/x86/vm/vm_version_x86.cpp,

- tty->cr();
- tty->print("Allocation");
+ log->print("Allocation");

Had you meant to delete the cr() here?

In src/os_cpu/linux_x86/vm/os_linux_x86.cpp,

- if (PrintMiscellaneous && Verbose) {
- tty->print("OS version is %d.%d, which %s support SSE/SSE2\n",
+ log_info(os)("OS version is %d.%d, which %s support SSE/SSE2\n",

I think you need to remove the newline at the end.

Otherwise looks good!
Rachel
