JEP 230 Status

Hellol,
    It appears that "JEP 230: Microbenchmark Suite"[1] is currently
dormant. However,  there has been some activity in terms of the JIRA
task [2] and Mikael Vidsted has been assigned as the owner.

I'm sure I won't be the only interested to know the intention behind
JEP 230, and subsequently to contribute benchmarks to it. Is there an
expected time frame for when the JEP will be completed?
