Ok, I will push a webrev this evening. I have managed to fix the Linux/s390
build now as well.

My patch will address:

- linux-zero
- linux-sparc
- linux-s390
- linux-ppc

I assume, for aix-ppc, it's enough to replace STATIC_CAST with STATIC_ASSERT?

For BSD, I will need to setup a NetBSD VM instance first. But I will do that
as well.
