I remember quite a few times when I was working on a customer ticket and found this information very helpful (we've already had this for quite a while in our SAP JVM).

I guess this is kind of sensitive information, for sure. However, it's probably not more sensitive than lots of other information you'll find in a hs-err file, e.g. register and memory contents, paths etc. So in my opinion we should not be overly concerned with this point.

I'd prefer if we could get this piece of information in unconditionally. But if it's the only way to introduce this behind a flag, then so be it. (We'd probably enable the flag by default for our SapMachine OpenJDK builds that we'll need to support.)
