Status for JDK-8199138, riscv64 support for Zero

Hi!
Debian and several other distribution already have already been bootstrapped
for riscv64 with a large number of packages building fine.
Support for OpenJDK Zero has been added through a slightly modified version
of JDK-8199138 [1]. Looking at the bug report for JDK-8199138, it seems that
the patch was retracted back in 2018.
However, since the Debian version of the patch works fine, I was wondering
whether we could get it merged in one form or another?
