@caspernorrbin Thank you for this. Will make the RB tree much more useful to me.
About the example:
Cursor insert_cursor = my_intrusive_tree.cursor_find(0);
Node insert_node = Node(0);
// Custom allocation here is just malloc
MyIntrusiveStructure* place = (MyIntrusiveStructure*)os::malloc(sizeof(MyIntrusiveStructure), mtTest);
new (place) MyIntrusiveStructure(0, insert_node);
Why not skip the useless insert_node creation? Let insert_at_cursor just accept uninitialized Node* memory, since it will initialize all Node members anyway?
I will do a full review after I get home.
