RFR: (XXS): 8065093: Remove unused variable/output argument

Hi,
I need reviewers and a commit sponsor for another small clean-up task.  
Bug 8065093 points out that total_reserved can be removed from 
GenCollectedHeap::initialize and ::allocate.
