Okidoki, I created the JDK-8163329-branch in the JDK10-sandbox repo:

http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk10/sandbox/branches

And pushed the existing prototype code to it. I'll do all further
development in there, and of course everybody is invited to participate.
