CMS has been deprecated for more than two years:
https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8179013

and there is a proposal to remove it entirely:
https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8229049

which is winding its way through the process, so making small cleanups
to it like this is not really worthwhile.
