runtime JVM options

Hi,
I can't determine the JBoss process id so I can't use jinfo.
But also, what I would like to see are *all* VM options/parameters... including options that were not explicitly defined when starting JBoss, but runtime (default) options that are set by the VM.
Basically I'd like to take an inventory of all options used by the VM when it is running. Is this possible?

% ${JDK}/bin/jinfo -flags <pid>
It should give you a list of the specified C.L. options like so:
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps -XX:+PrintGCDetails -Xmx2g
If you want the value of a specific flag that you did not specify on
the command line, you can ask:
% ${JDK}/bin/jinfo -flag -flag CMSMarkStackSizeMax <pid>
And you might get back for example:
-XX:CMSMarkStackSizeMax=4194304
I do not know of a universal jinfo query which will dump all
extant flags though.
