Hi everyone.

Is the timestamp in the GC log indicate the beginning of the ParNew GC cycle or the end?
Also, would high context switching on the box contribute to the large real time value?

2014-06-30T10:59:21.470-0400: 112114.215: [GC 112114.744: [ParNew: 147812K->129K(148608K), 0.0024290 secs] 165105K->17476K(261248K), 0.0025220 secs] [Times: user=0.01 sys=0.01, real=0.53 secs]
