Do -XX:+UseGCTaskAffinity -XX:+BindGCTaskThreadsToCPUs have any impact for G1 on linux?

Anyone know off hand if

 -XX:+UseGCTaskAffinity

or

-XX:+BindGCTaskThreadsToCPUs

have any impact on a 1.7u40+ x86_64 bit JVM running on linux?

(I read a few places online saying they were NO OPs on linux - figured I'd
ask here before I either spin up an experiment or dive into the hotspot
code)
