RFR (S): 8000363: runtime/7158988/FieldMonitor.java fails with exception

Jtreg adds the tools.jar (from the jdk that is tested) to the classpath for both compile and run actions.

Thanks,

Christian

This looks good.   How does this test know how to find ${PS}$TESTJAVA${FS}lib${FS}tools.jar ?
That's why it was a shell script in the first place.  I guess this is already included all the time?

thanks,
Coleen

Christian,

No webrev link in the mail.

Hi everyone,

This is a small test fix, the shell script didn't work properly and wasn't needed. Only changes made to the test was to make it compile TestPostFieldModification.java before running.

Verified both that it crashes and fails with 7u6-fcs and that it passes with 7u14-b10 on both Windows x64 and Linux x64.

Thanks,

Christian
