Hi Patricio,
First, I confirmed with Valhalla folk that this change is fine to go
ahead as a stand-alone change independent of the proposed JEP in this area.
I've checked the incremental changes for v2, v3 and v4 and everything
seems good to me.
I only have a couple of nits with the tests:
