OK, good. If it ends up being a JDK bug, please share the details here or privately, so we can 
submit a JDK bug and deal with this on JDK side.

OK, "good" that the issue you seen originally on Liberica reproduces on Corretto too, meaning this 
is a problem in OpenJDK, and likely not related to vendor-specific build configs. The crash above is 
still not fastdebug, but release. "fastdebug" would have "fastdebug" in its version string.

Weird, I definitely see Alpine/{x86,aarch64}/fastdebug Corretto builds. Feel free to file an issue 
against one of the Corretto repositories (https://github.com/orgs/corretto/repositories) -- if you 
have problems with builds.
