RFR: 8313306: More sensible reservation logging [v5]

Sonia Zaldana Calles has updated the pull request with a new target base due to a merge or a rebase. The pull request now contains 10 commits:

 - Merge master
 - Fixing indentation and incorrect size passed on to logging in linux
 - Addressing feedback on trcVerbose and macro usage
 - Sorting out copyright headers
 - Adding error string as opposed to number and ensuing test change
 - RAII issues
 - Implementation of high level debug logging and low level trace logging
 - Implementation of high level debug logging
 - Feedback - deleting oracle copyright and fixing INTPTR formatting
 - 8313306: More sensible reservation logging
