I hereby propose that the Internationalization group withdraw<br>

sponsorship of the Locale Enhancement Project [1]. This project has been<br>

inactive after the enhancement work was complete in JDK 7 [2].<br>

<br>

This project has only one group sponsor. A consequence of withdrawing<br>

sponsorship is that this project will be dissolved [3]. Votes are due by<br>

December 18, 2025, 23.59 UTC. Only current Internationalization group<br>

members [4] are eligible to vote on this motion. Votes must be cast in<br>

the open by replying to this mailing list.<br>
