JSR 401 (Java SE 26) Specification -- DRAFT 28

Hi.

A draft of the Specification is available here:

This draft includes the following:

    - Spec, section 4 "Component JSR Specifications":
        o MRs anticipated for 221, 269

    - Spec, section 8 "APIs removed":
        o Add APIs corresponding to CSRs 8359058, 8359594, 8359663, 8364778,
	  8365409, and 8368237

    - Annexes 1 - 2:
        o Update based on build 28

    - Annex 3:
        o Add references to JEP 530
	o Add PR PDFs for JLS and JVMS

    - Annex 4 - 11:
        o Diffs for narrative specs (e.g. JNI, RMI, Java Security Standard
	  Algorithm Names) based on build 28


The next JCP milestone is PR, scheduled for January 2026.  As usual with
milestones, we'll take a snapshot of the current Specification (without
changebars) and submit it for publication.  I anticipate PR submission to the
PMO January, for publication later that month.
