JSR 400 (Java SE 25): JEP Proposed to Target: 510: Key Derivation Function API

The following JEP with scope "SE" has been proposed to target JDK 25:

    510: Key Derivation Function API

    Summary: Introduce an API for Key Derivation Functions (KDFs), which
    are cryptographic algorithms for deriving additional keys from a secret
    key and other data.

The announced deadline for feedback to jdk-dev is Thu 15 May 18:00 UTC:

If there are no unresolved objections at that time, then the JEP will be moved
to the Targeted state, indicating that the feature is expected to appear in
