Java Markdown - soliciting feedback

This sounds interesting but this list is probably not the right place 
for discussion.  This mailing list is just for discussion about the JDK 
documentation tool `javadoc`, and while that has recently has recently 
added support for Markdown in documentation comments, that is not enough 
of an overlap with what you are describing here.

There may be some interest from the folk on the amber-dev mailing list, 
although the project description [1] for that is specifically about Java 
language features (not tools), many of which are aimed at simplifying 
what it means for newcomers to start learning Java.

Although it is not an ideal match, you may wish to post to the 
`discuss at openjdk.org` mailing list [2] if only to ask if there is a more 
appropriate place for any discussion.
