Considering that "A job usually takes a couple of hours to complete.",
that effectively means you have at best up to four 'shots' at getting
code through the system in an eight hour work day.
So I suspect a many Committers will find it more effective to ask for
help from an Oracle engineer right after the initial failure, rather
then resubmitting the code (unchanged ?) repeatedly, and hoping for the
best.
