Thank you Joe for the quick reply.
We have tried by using yum command: sudo yum install java-1.8.0-openjdk-devel in the ec-2 red hat machine.
As its open-jdk I thought open jdk is the point of contact we have reached you.
Can you please let me know whether we need to reach out red hat / other vendor for this.
