Yes, best to start a discussion there. Also important to get acquainted 
with the security concerns with putting sometimes sensitive information 
in exception messages. JDK-8204233 [1] has more on this and you'll see 
the infrastructure that is already in place to allow opting in for more 
detailed information in exception messages.
