My colleagues and I plan to deliver the "preview API" feature that I 
described for Java SE as soon as possible. It is probably best to see 
how it works in practice -- both the release model and the JDK mechanism 
-- before diving too deeply into other use cases for the mechanism, 
especially when Jakarta EE hasn't signed up to the model in the first place.
