    Simon has done a decent amount of work in the main JDK project [1] and
    making him a committer would aid further work by avoiding the need for
    someone else to push his fixes. He is already an 8u and jdk-updates
    committer.

    Votes are due by 19h00 UTC on Wednesday, the 10th of June, 2020.

    Only current OpenJDK Committers (and above) [2] are eligible
    to vote on this nomination.
