JEP proposed to target JDK 20: 437: Structured Concurrency (Second Incubator)

The following JEP is proposed to target JDK 20:

  437: Structured Concurrency (Second Incubator)

  Summary: Simplify multithreaded programming by introducing an API
  for structured concurrency.  Structured concurrency treats multiple
  tasks running in different threads as a single unit of work, thereby
  streamlining error handling and cancellation, improving reliability,
  and enhancing observability.  This is an incubating API.

Feedback on this proposal from JDK Project Committers and Reviewers [1]
is more than welcome, as are reasoned objections.  If no such objections
are raised by 23:59 UTC on Tuesday, 6 December, or if they’re raised
and then satisfactorily answered, then per the JEP 2.0 process proposal
[2] I’ll target this JEP to JDK 20.
