Proposed schedule for JDK 20

Here’s the proposed schedule for JDK 20:

  2022/12/08 Rampdown Phase One
  2023/01/19 Rampdown Phase Two
  2023/02/09 Initial Release Candidate
  2023/02/23 Final Release Candidate
  2023/03/21 General Availability

The phases are defined in JEP 3 [1].

Comments on this proposal from JDK Committers and Reviewers [2] are
welcome, as are reasoned objections.  If no such objections are raised
by 23:00 UTC next Wednesday, 2 November, or if they’re raised and then
satisfactorily answered, then per the JEP 2.0 process proposal [3] this
will be the schedule for JDK 20.
