JEP proposed to target JDK 21: 430: String Templates (Preview)

The following JEP is proposed to target JDK 21:

  430: String Templates (Preview)
       https://openjdk.org/jeps/430

  Summary: Enhance the Java programming language with string templates.
  String templates complement Java's existing string literals and text
  blocks by coupling literal text with embedded expressions and template
  processors to produce specialized results.  This is a preview language
  feature and API.

Feedback on this proposal from JDK Project Committers and Reviewers [1]
is more than welcome, as are reasoned objections.  If no such objections
are raised by 23:59 UTC on Thursday, 13 April, or if they’re raised and
then satisfactorily answered, then per the JEP 2.0 process proposal [2]
I’ll target this JEP to JDK 21.
