Subject: CFV: New JDK Committer: Mark Powers

I hereby nominate Mark Powers to JDK Committer.

Mark is a member of Oracle’s Java Security team. Mark has contributed 21 changes so far to the JDK project [1, 2]. Notably, he implemented a set of tests for the new HSS/LMS signature algorithm in JDK 21. He has also fixed various bugs and made coding improvements throughout the security libraries area.
Votes are due by 14:00 UTC Monday 16th October 2023.

Only current JDK Committers [3] are eligible to vote on this nomination.  Votes must be cast in the open by replying to this mailing list.
