Hi,
There is a second test with a similar failure:
StringRepeat.java
https://github.com/openjdk/jdk17u-dev/pull/2296
https://github.com/openjdk/jdk17u-dev/pull/2300 <https://github.com/openjdk/jdk17u-dev/pull/2300%206>
“Could not reserve enough space for … object heap”
I have seen this a few times now.
How comes these show up suddenly?
Best regards, Goetz

Subject: Tier1 failure: test machine short of memory?
In java/util/HashMap/WhiteBoxResizeTest.jtr:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap
So we're seeing red on the tier1 runs on Linux-i686. I'm not sure what we can
do about this, perhaps we should disable the test for x86-32?
