I hereby nominate David Briemann (dbriemann) to JDK Committer.

David is part of the JVM team at SAP and has contributed 14 patches to the JDK project [1]. He has implemented JIT compiler and interpreter improvements for PPC64 and other platforms. Some of them were complex. In addition, he has fixed test bugs and implemented new tests.

Votes are due by Tuesday, September 25, 2025.

Only current JDK Committers [2] are eligible to vote on this nomination.
