Subject: CFV: New JDK Committer: Paul Hübner

I hereby nominate Paul Hübner to JDK Committer.

Paul is a member of the HotSpot Runtime team at Oracle. To date, Paul has made 16 commits [3], improving robustness across multiple areas of HotSpot by strengthening invariants and enhancing/fixing tests. This is also evident in his PR reviews (26 so far [4]), where Paul regularly challenges changes to be more defensive and looks for opportunities to improve robustness and long-term maintainability.

In addition to his contributions to mainline JDK development, Paul plays a key role in the development and testing of Project Valhalla, and some of that work has carried over into his mainline contributions.

Votes are due by 2026-03-12T09:00+01:00.

Only current JDK Committers [1] are eligible to vote
on this nomination. Votes must be cast in the open by replying
to this mailing list.

For Lazy Consensus voting instructions, see [2].
