I hereby nominate Damon Fenacci to JDK Committer.<br>
<br>
Damon is a member of the HotSpot Compiler Team at Oracle and located in Zurich, Switzerland. He<br>
holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh and a MSc in Computer Science from ETH<br>
Zurich, with a focus on compilers and computer networks. Damon has over 20 years of software<br>
development experience, mostly in compilers and full-stack engineering. More recently, he did<br>
research at Queen's University in Belfast on optimizations for Java compilers and VMs, focusing on<br>
memory management and garbage collection for Big Data frameworks.<br>
<br>
