Usually would-be committers tackle simpler tasks at the beginning and <br>
get to do more complex ones later on. Archie is a disruptor, he is the <br>
owner and co-author of JEP 447: Statements before super(...) (Preview) <br>
[2] which was successfully delivered in JDK 22 and of its continuation <br>
JEP 482: Flexible Constructor Bodies (Second Preview) [3], delivered in <br>
JDK 23.<br>

Apart from this Archie has worked on many other projects like: "'this' <br>
escape analysis", and on a multitude of bugs on javac, core-libs, xml, <br>
etc. Archie's activity in the openjdk/jdk repo can be gauged, for <br>
example, using [4].<br>
