Paul is a member of the HotSpot Runtime team at Oracle. To date, Paul has made 16 commits [3], improving robustness across multiple areas of HotSpot by strengthening invariants and enhancing/fixing tests. This is also evident in his PR reviews (26 so far [4]),
where Paul regularly challenges changes to be more defensive and looks for opportunities to improve robustness and long-term maintainability.</div>
