This announcement was made more than 6 weeks ago. There were no replies 
to it.

Given that no one has stepped forward to maintain JDK 9 Updates further 
and March ends in 5 days, I'd like to request that the JDK 9 Updates 
forest be closed on Monday, April 2nd.
