I agree, and have just raised a similar response to the -ga tag being
added [0]. We really need a tag for the point where the cut-off occurs
for the next CPU. I proposed '-rdp2' in the previous e-mail, because
I believe that's what Oracle call this point, but I'm open to better
suggestions.
It would be good to see this adopted by Oracle for future updates and by
whomever takes over for 8u and 11u going forward. It's never been much
of a problem with 6 & 7, as they've been pretty low traffic, but I expect we'll
see 8u being significantly busier.
