Thanks for doing this work. I'll approve it for jdk11u-dev, add the patch to our test queue and will submit it tomorrow once we don't see a regression (which I'm quite sure of).

As for jdk11u-critical (11.0.5), I would currently not request this. I don't see this patch backported to any other October update release so far. In case Oracle decides to do so or other reasons come up why it should be part of 11.0.5, we could still promote it to jdk11u in the next days.
