I hereby nominate Ichiroh Takiguchi [0] for the role of OpenJDK Updates Committer.
Ichiroh is Committer for the JDK project and has contributed a
significant amount of patches to OpenJDK [1],
doing a lot of work for the AIX port and IBM charsets. He
ported many of his changes to the jdk11 updates branch [2]. Making
him a Committer would aid this backporting work by avoiding the need
for someone else to push his fixes. It also assures to have an expert
on above mentioned topics in the project.
Votes are due by 21h00 UTC on the 12th of June, 2020.
Only current OpenJDK Updates Committers (and above) [3] are eligible
to vote on this nomination. Votes must be cast in the open by replying
to this mailing list.
For Three-Vote Consensus voting instructions, see [4].
