[jdk13u-dev] RFR: 8239497: SEGV in EdgeUtils::field_name_symbol(Edge const&)

I'd like to backport 8239497 to 13u for parity with 11u.
The patch doesn't apply cleanly due to context differences in jfr/leakprofiler/chains/edge.cpp and jfr/leakprofiler/chains/edgeUtils.cpp (JDK-8235174 is not in 13u), reapplied manually.
Tested with tier1 and jdk/jfr tests.
