I imagine that people will mirror OpenJDK @ Github.

I understand, but the Github workflow is so much better than we had
with Mercurial that it's unlikely anyone will want to return or to
maintain it. Apart from anything else, we're using Github services for
patch review, which work very well. Mercurial simply couldn't scale to
meet our needs.
