Hi Boris and others,

Thanks for integrating this fix into jdk18 and jdk17.

This bug is also present in OpenJDK 11.0.10 and later (introduced by the
backport of JDK-8241234). I would suggest that this also be backported to
jdk11u. It applies cleanly. Let me know if there is any way for me to help
with this effort.
