These 3 need to go in in this order:
1. #274 (**accepted**, waiting for JBS `fix-yes` tag)
2. #299 (informally accepted by original author, waiting for formal review)
3. #301 (this one)

These two depend on #301:
- #304 (**accepted**)
- #307 (waiting for review)

These two could go in independently:
- #300 (**accepted** but debated)
- #280 (informally accepted by original author, waiting for formal review)
