This is a backport of https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8252145. Backport ticket is https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8292307. The Skara bot said this was not a clean backport: https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/commit/7df86108cb42079df8ade07b4d07587c1f0cbe83#commitcomment-81065611, but it was clean for me when I performed it locally.
