I tend to agree with @RealCLanger for the [reasons outlined in my JBS comment](https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8292327?focusedCommentId=14517812&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-14517812) but in the end it's your decision.
