[jdk17u-dev] RFR: 8296956: [JVMCI] HotSpotResolvedJavaFieldImpl.getIndex returns wrong value

Clean backport. Fix applicable to 17u too. JVMCI only change.

Testing: jvmci tests (including new test). Passed.
